Senior Recruitment Consultant at Link Personnel - Specialising in Legal Recruitment

Link Personnel have been instructed by our Client, an International Law Firm in Dublin 2, on a Senior Legal PA vacancy, supporting a Head of Dept. This will suit a candidate who has exceptional organisational skills and enjoys good autonomy in a role.

Salary : to €58k

Benefits: Pension, Healthcare, Bonus, Hybrid working, Life Assurance, Income Continuance

Total Package: up to €72k

The Role:

  • Provide PA support to a Head of Dept.
  • Work collaboratively with all Finance teams to proactively support fee earners' financial performance including client billing and reports, management of matter balances and working capital.
  • Drafting, amending, preparing correspondence and documentation to a high standard, in accordance with house style and to tight deadlines.
  • Dealing with client queries, ensuring they are handled in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
  • Client invoicing – drafting narratives, preparing reports, and tailoring to client specification through e-billing.
  • Maintaining and archiving files – hard and soft copy.
  • Preparing pleadings and briefs and bibles for Court.
  • Dictaphone and copy typing.
  • Organising travel arrangements.
  • Diary management.
  • Other secretarial, administrative and ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested.

The Candidate:

  • 3 – 5 years' Legal PA experience (or equivalent) gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation.
  • Be a confident stakeholder manager, with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
  • Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range tasks, ensuring the accuracy and levels of service expected within a high performing team.
  • Have enthusiasm, resilience and ambition to find solutions to problems.
  • Remain calm and optimistic in time sensitive situations or under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
  • High degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
