Department: Public Sector & Utilities (Ireland)Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test, Test Engineer, or Test Analyst who is confident in manual testing and also enjoys automation testing.

You will be part of an agile team helping clients achieve business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions, and providing ongoing guidance in testing.

You may also be involved in:

  • Defining and executing test strategies and scripts
  • Recording and monitoring issues accurately
  • Supporting scrum teams in test automation to guide development
  • Reviewing test environments and processes for continuous improvement and quality standards maintenance
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Practical experience with open-source tools such as Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium, or similar
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress)
  • Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing tools like JMeter
