Job Description

ICDS Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Planning Engineer to join the main contractor's team, supporting major infrastructure projects across motorways, highways, and large-scale civil engineering works. The role involves working both on-site and at client's head office, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design programme planning, analysis, and development to drive project success.
  • Develope, maintain, and update project schedules using planning software.
  • Mentor the planning and pre-construction team.
  • Identify programme performance issues and implement recovery strategies.
  • Continuously model project phases and milestones, ensuring alignment with deliverables.
  • Support pre-construction and construction teams with planning expertise.
  • Attend project meetings, providing insights on timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar planning software.
  • Experience in civil engineering planning, particularly in infrastructure projects, is advantageous.
