GPC Finance are delighted to partner with a Top 10 Accounting firm who is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their office in Kilkenny. Due to organic growth, our client is looking for an ambitious and successful Senior Accountant. In this role, you will become a key member of the team reporting directly to the partner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
  2. Training and mentorship of junior staff.
  3. Management of a portfolio of clients from sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
  4. Review the financial accounts and tax computations for clients.
  5. Co-ordination and completion of the annual audit process, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduled.
  6. Successful implementation of all relevant systems, policies, processes, and controls and responsibility for ensuring compliance with same.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Accountant CPA/ACCA/ACA
  2. 3+ years of experience in a Practice firm.
  3. Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Excellent organisational skills.
  6. Ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams.
  7. Commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  8. Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  9. Passion for helping businesses achieve their potential.
