Senior Full Stack Java Engineer – Galway (Hybrid)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to join a collaborative and innovative team in Galway. You'll work on end-to-end development of scalable web applications, shaping great user experiences and delivering high-quality solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build full stack web applications across front-end, mid-tier, and back-end.
  • Develop dynamic and responsive UIs using Angular, React, or NodeJS.
  • Create and manage APIs and microservices using Java, Spring, and REST.
  • Work closely with global Agile teams to deliver business value.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Drive quality across the full development lifecycle, including CI/CD.

What You'll Need

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years working with front-end frameworks (Angular/React/NodeJS).
  • Strong skills in Java, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, or Protractor.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS (ECS, EKS), Apache Camel, Veracode, Sonar, SOASTA, or Artifactory.
