About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised Post Room Assistant/Workplace Assistant to join our client's team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic role and enjoys being at the heart of workplace operations. Ideal candidates might have experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service and are eager to develop their skills in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up desks and ensure new starters have all the equipment they need to hit the ground running.
  2. Conduct office tours for new starters, covering health and safety procedures and workplace facilities.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, ensuring all deliveries are processed efficiently.
  4. Coordinate with couriers for pickups and deliveries.
  5. Ensure shared office spaces are tidy and well-stocked with supplies.
  6. Provide support for ad-hoc office tasks, helping the team where needed.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills.
  2. Someone who is eager to learn and happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
  3. Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  4. Previous experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, or similar is ideal but not essential—what matters most is your attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
  5. A basic understanding of health and safety procedures (training will be provided).
