Manager, Commercial Procurement, Agile Sourcing – Bristol Myers Squibb UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced sourcing and contracting professional to join its Agile Sourcing team. This role contributes to the delivery of source-to-contract operations across the Commercial categories with focus on Commercial Distribution, Marketing Services, Patient Engagement and Media. The Manager will work independently to ensure effective sourcing, negotiating, contracting and purchasing activities to optimize buying power and achieve procurement outcomes in support of the company's goals. • Oversee and lead the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process in support of operations across the Commercial categories.
• Act as a facilitator to manage complex sourcing events from end-to-end (RFI/RFP): prepare solicitations, evaluate offerings, negotiate terms, and communicate decisions externally.
• Drive and manage the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to finalization, distribution, storage and governance.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (Legal, Cybersecurity/IT, Data Privacy, Quality) to incorporate feedback for timely, compliant contracts.
• Maintain awareness of pre-contracting steps and BMS policies related to the contracts within scope.
• Continuous Improvement for Source to Contract
  • Participate in assessing team performance and identify trends for improvement in operational effectiveness and standardization.
  • Share best practices with the Agile Sourcing team to ensure business needs are met in a aligned, compliant manner with SOPs.
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal to improve contracting processes, including updating templates and guidance for negotiations.
  • Contribute to procurement-wide continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen contracting and sourcing outcomes.

• B.S./B.A. in Sciences
• Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in Commercial category procurement, sourcing and contracting, including familiarity with Master Services Agreements
• Understanding of procurement processes, agreement management, financial and market analysis, supplier management and strategic planning
• Knowledge of contract construction and terms, with experience facilitating, drafting and negotiating buy-side contracts in pharma/biotech
• Excellent oral and written communication, with strong customer focus
• Proven adaptability in ambiguous and complex environments, with ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering results
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management technology (e.g., Icertis) to automate and streamline processes
