The Accounting Manager will oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and compliance processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Review and approve general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other departments to support business operations and reporting.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across finance functions.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a multinational SSC environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Irish GAAP/IFRS.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
