Position: Social Care Worker - Residential Services
Location: St Ritas, Claremorris, Co. Mayo
Contract: 25.6 hours per week + Relief

Job DetailsSuccessful applicant will be required to deliver on the vision for the people they are supporting. You will support individuals to gain valued social roles in their lives and participate in meaningful and creative activities through developing appropriate supports. You will advocate on behalf of the individual with regard to their needs and preferences and support the development of their Individual Plans.
QualificationsQualification: Social Care Worker - a relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care, or equivalent (minimum level 7). Qualification must be eligible for CORU registration.
Candidate Requirements- Experience in facilitating and supporting people who have high and/or complex needs
- Genuine understanding and interest in working with people to create positive opportunities and meaningful change
- Ability to listen, advocate for the individual's needs, preferences, rights, and dreams
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork with individuals, families, and other disciplines
- Strong belief in people's rights, inclusion, and equality
- Flexibility to respond to service demands
- Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Good IT skills
- Full driver's license is essential
- All applicants will be subject to Garda Vetting and Reference checks
- Non-EU applicants must provide relevant work authorization for Ireland
- Overseas Police Clearance may be required if lived outside Ireland/Northern Ireland for more than 6 months since age 18
Salary Scale: Social Care Worker Pay Scale (Scale Range €34,969 - €52,619 per annum). These salaries are based on full-time hours (39 hours per week).
