GPC Finance is working on a new opportunity within a Medium size firm in Dublin. My client requires an experienced Tax Technician to join their Tax Team. This role is suitable for someone who is self-motivated, with excellent organisational and technical skills who can execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Processing of payroll returns.
  • Processing of VAT returns.
  • General tax administration tasks.
  • Delivering work to strict deadlines and dealing with day-to-day queries and requests.
  • Working closely with clients to ensure a high service level.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Tax and/or Accounting Technician Qualification.
  • IPASS Qualification (desirable).
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a busy tax or accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of Tax, Accounting, Payroll software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable numerical/analytical skills.
  • Strong technical and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
