Role Description

This is a full-time role for an on-site HGV Mechanic located in Fermoy. The HGV Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of a range of heavy goods vehicles. This includes inspecting vehicle systems, diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all repairs meet safety standards. The role demands precise attention to detail and a commitment to operational efficiency to maintain the fleet's reliability and safety.

Qualifications
  • Experience in vehicle maintenance, inspection, and repair
  • Knowledge of diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic is preferred
  • Relevant certifications or a Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
