Senior Cardiac Physiologist - Mayo University Hospital

Senior Cardiac Physiologist required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities at Mayo University Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work as part of the Cardiac Physiologist team supporting Mayo University Hospital.
  2. Provide assessment and intervention.
  3. Lead and perform a full spectrum of cardiac tests.
  4. Deputise for the Chief or Principal Cardiac Physiologist.
  5. Interface effectively with consultants, GPs, nurses, and other hospital staff to coordinate patient care and diagnostic pathways.
  6. Present and communicate results, ensuring clear interpretation and timely follow-up.
  7. Attend multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences to contribute clinical insights.
  8. Support research and teaching initiatives, potentially presenting findings and helping with evidence-based practice.

The Candidate:

  • A recognized qualification as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist with CORU registration.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • Professional approach to work.
  • Flexibility in work practice.
