This position is on the Finance Business Intelligence & Data Analytics team providing data infrastructure and insights covering the Merchant Segment. Data analytics team: Data Management > Data Governance > Business Intelligence

We're seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with a consultant mindset to join our growing fintech team.

This role goes beyond dashboards and data-it's about being a strategic advisor, transforming insights into actions, and helping drive data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic data consultant to business stakeholders-understanding their goals, framing analytical problems, and delivering impactful insights.

• Proactively identify opportunities for business growth or cost savings through data-driven recommendations.

• Design and build scalable BI solutions including dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that support decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, performance drivers, customer behaviors, and emerging risks.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and begin actively contributing to their strategic decision-making

• Collaborate effectively with international customers across multiple time zones, ensuring timely communication.

• Lead cross-functional data projects end-to-end: requirements gathering, data modeling, analysis, visualization, and presentation.

• Translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with data engineering to ensure reliable data pipelines.

• Support strategic initiatives such as product launches, pricing optimization, risk mitigation, or customer segmentation using data insights.

• Leverage the BI CoE to streamline data gathering, transformation processes, and preparation to drive business insights.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields-ideally within fintech or financial services.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Microstrategy, Power BI, Looker), and Excel. Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.

• Deep understanding of financial products (e.g., payments, POS, lending, digital banking, etc.) and regulatory considerations.

• Demonstrated experience leading projects with a consultative approach-asking the right questions, influencing stakeholders, and driving outcomes.

• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling stories.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and data modeling best practices.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Finance, Engineering).
