The Role- Prepare dishes or ingredients as directed by the Executive Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Assist in different sections of the kitchen at the discretion of the Executive Head Chef.
- Prepare dishes for service from start to finish as requested.
- Ensure mise en place is ready for service and aligns with forecasted business levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas at all times.
- Assist with food deliveries, ensuring hygienic and safe handling.
- Minimize food waste through proper measures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to complete tasks.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in line with HACCP standards.
- Ensure food presentation meets the standards set by the Executive Head Chef.
- Collaborate with the team to meet guest requests efficiently.
- Support the management of labor and food costs by meeting targets.
- Adhere to grooming standards as per hotel policy.
- HACCP certification
