IT Cyber Security Business Analyst (2-year FTC)

Dublin (Hybrid)

We're looking for an IT Cyber Security Business Analyst to support our client's enterprise-wide cyber security initiatives. You'll work closely with IT, cybersecurity leaders, and business stakeholders to drive the delivery of cybersecurity projects, improve processes, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Align security efforts with business goals across IT and operational teams.
  • Map and optimise business processes, identifying risks and recommending security improvements.
  • Create clear documentation and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Support compliance efforts (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST) and assist in risk assessments.
  • Work with the PMO and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with cybersecurity exposure.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and process documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.).
  • Understanding of Azure, O365, and cloud security practices.
  • Relevant certifications (CBAP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are a must.
