The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS architecture and services, with a strong understanding of cloud-native design principles. Exposure to Machine Learning services such as Amazon SageMaker and Bedrock is highly desirable. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Integrate and support Machine Learning workflows using Amazon SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations.

Your profile: Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proven experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and more.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon SageMaker and/or Bedrock for ML model deployment and integration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on AWS).
• Familiarity with data engineering and ML lifecycle management.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
