We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Pastry Chef to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, the Head Pastry Chef will be responsible for the smooth running of the pastry department, ensuring our guests experience the highest quality pastries.

• Preparing and presenting quality desserts, pastries, and bakery items.
• Managing the Pastry Section, ensuring high-quality ingredients are used.
• Menu creation and development.
• Maintaining knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety regulations.
• Engaging with guests and acting upon their feedback.
• Updating SOPs and ensuring all team members are fully trained.
• Providing team training on standards and customer service.
• Supporting the Executive Head Chef in daily operations.
• Motivating the team and creating an engaging work environment.
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and sharing it with the team.

• Creative and passionate about culinary arts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Flexible with hours and own transport.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Full working rights in Ireland.
