Cleaning Validation Engineer - Ireland, Carlow - 11 Month Contract

Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects?

Our pharmaceutical client, which has the largest centre in the industry worldwide for veterinary vaccines and is a Centre of Excellence employing over 1000 people, is looking to add a Cleaning Validation Engineer to their team.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Design, author, review, approve, and execute qualification and validation documentation, including cycle development studies, in line with approval processes.
  2. Design, author, review, approve, and execute change controls.
  3. Resolve technical issues during study execution.
  4. Engage with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams during cycle development and performance qualification activities.
  5. Contribute technical input for quality investigations, including root cause analysis of system failures and substandard performance.
  6. Ensure compliance through documentation, risk assessments, corrective actions, audits, and inspections.
  7. Support regulatory audits and submissions as needed.
  8. Promote a safe and compliant culture.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Desirable Experience:

  1. Experience in cleaning validation, including CD & PQ of mobile vessels (CIP) and parts washers (COP), recipe development, verification, and recovery studies using TOC, ICP, and swab methods.
  2. Significant experience in a GMP manufacturing setting, contributing as an individual.
  3. Relevant technical qualifications in pharmaceutical, biological, chemical sciences, or engineering, with a proven track record of excellence.
