System Analyst – 12 Month Contract w/Extensions - €560/Day

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders, gather business and technical requirements, and translate them into a prioritized backlog for the development team.

Job Overview

As part of our clients Financial Crime Solutions program, you will work within the software development and scrum team, providing ongoing functional and technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create a development backlog.
  • Define features and user stories, facilitate backlog refinement meetings, and prioritize development tasks.
  • Continuously monitor feature development, making necessary adjustments during implementation.
  • Bridge the gap between business, solution architects, and development teams.
  • Clearly communicate functional and technical requirements to developers and business stakeholders.
  • Identify key dependencies, risks, and potential impacts of new development work.
  • Collaborate with the development team on software solution designs.
  • Act as a technical consultant for business owners during new product/service implementation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for support escalations.
  • Review product and test plans against acceptance criteria to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
  • Document and coordinate audit controls and PCI requirements.
About You
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Strong skills in system analysis, documentation, and requirement gathering.
  • Solid understanding of conceptual and architectural designs.
  • Strong technical knowledge and capability.
  • Familiarity with SAFe, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using project tracking tools such as JIRA, Rally, or ADO.
  • Understanding of database design with hands-on experience using SQL.
  • Experience designing APIs with JSON/XML and using API testing tools like Postman.
  • High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivation, and a desire to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
  • A good understanding of Java, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (PCF/AWS/Azure), microservices architecture, data structures, and experience in data extraction and analysis is a plus.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
