Overview

The Executive Solicitor role is with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in the Legal Services Department. Responsibilities
  • Assigned to a team of solicitors for a specific body of work under the management of the County Law Agent and the Senior Solicitor.
  • Manage and conduct legal files allocated to them; secure instructions, advise client departments on legal issues, instruct counsel, conduct legal proceedings and manage legal transactions.
  • Participate in team meetings, perform routine administration of allocated files, and comply with office policies and procedures.
  • Assist client departments with developing policies and procedures to ensure legal robustness.
  • Work proactively, manage files with initiative, and deliver value for money in the delivery of legal services.
