The solution is now used by some of the world's leading Life Sciences companies. As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for enthusiastic Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our R&D Dept.

Position Summary

Reporting to our Software Development Manager the Senior Software Developer will help Kneat grow its market leading technology by contributing to the continuous growth and improvement of our software.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Extensive professional experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React (v16+ and above)
  • Deep understanding of advanced React concepts (hooks, context, state management, code splitting, performance optimization)
  • Proven track record of writing robust automated unit and integration tests
  • Strong proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
  • Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS skills
  • Hands-on experience with web bundlers (Webpack, Lerna, Rollup) and optimizing build pipelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering maintainable, scalable code
Nice To Haves
  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
  • Advanced knowledge
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement secure, performant, and well-tested features using modern React best practices
  • Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex design and engineering challenges
  • Drive code quality through peer reviews, mentorship, and continuous improvement
  • Share expertise and foster learning within the front-end engineering team
