Role Overview
As a Group Sports Trader, you will have the opportunity to channel your analytical and innovative approach into serving an exciting, customised product to Flutter customers across some of the biggest sporting events of the year. It's an incredibly exciting time to join the team, with regular Golf Majors, F1 Grand Prix, and top-level Boxing on the horizon, as well as major Rugby, Darts, and Cricket tournaments.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Ideation, management, and compilation of a range of attractive markets for Flutter customers across 25+ Sports.
- Live trading of a broad range of events across the Group Sports portfolio.
- Challenging the status quo: showing initiative to offer new propositions for our customers.
- Risk management: tracking customer engagement with our products and working with colleagues to provide accurate pricing to Flutter brands.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required
We're looking to train budding traders with the following attributes:
- A customer-focused mentality and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills. At ease interacting with both internal and external partners.
- Strong Excel, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- A basic understanding of odds and probabilities would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
- Flexible approach to working hours. Prepared to work evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays to meet the demands of the sporting calendar.
