In this role, you will report to the Senior Planning Manager, managing the incoming flow of raw materials through production to ensure high-quality products and on-time delivery, while supporting the development of the supply chain function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate planning and logistics activities related to customer requirements in accordance with company documented requirements.
  • Support the development of the supply chain planning team through coaching and training.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit, Account, and Purchasing Managers to ensure lean management of the supply chain, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Liaise directly with customers to understand their requirements, establish schedules/forecasts, and work closely with production to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate customer shipments, including freight management.
  • Manage MRP system, inventory, and invoicing accuracy through Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Identify and control raw materials requirements for manufacturing finished products via MRP maintenance.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with purchasing and warehousing functions within the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the company's Guiding Principles and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Third-level qualification, ideally a degree in a relevant business discipline.
  • Possession of a formal Supply Chain Management qualification (e.g., APICS, IIPMM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in production/materials planning.
  • Experience with warehousing and inventory control is preferred.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, preferably with plastics, medical devices, or regulated manufacturing sectors.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and lead projects.
  • Self-initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Awareness of SOPs related to the position.
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs.
  • Compliance with safety and quality policies.
  • Confidence in public speaking.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate office equipment.
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels, with hearing protection in manufacturing settings.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for carrying equipment or materials.
  • Logical reasoning, effective communication, multitasking, teamwork, and working under pressure.
  • Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and organize priorities.
