Construction Health and Safety Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental policies on major construction sites
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel
  • Collaborate with main contractors to ensure a cohesive approach to site safety
  • Manage and maintain ISO14001 & ISO45001 certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present detailed safety reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent recurrence

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License: Must hold a valid, full driving license
  • Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • EHS Qualifications: Must possess the required Environmental, Health, and Safety qualifications for working on major construction sites in Ireland
  • Experience with Main Contractors: Proven experience working on projects with main contractors in Ireland is essential
  • ISO Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing or implementing ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards
