We have a team of Project Managers who are committed and are instrumental to the success of our Transportation projects. An opportunity has become available for someone to join us here at AECOM as the Senior Project Manager in Dublin, Ireland.

This role will see you leading & delivering rail related Irish (or UK) infrastructure or rail projects, working with our Clients, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and Translink.

You will work within the transportation team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects. This role will require the individual to work from the Dublin office to which the objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop and execute projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules.

This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle. You'll be familiar with working in large, geographically dispersed multidisciplinary design teams on projects at varying stages of development from feasibility to detailed design and construction.

Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression. The team provides technical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Deliver: Take ownership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your project.
  • Collaborate: Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver integrated designs and building effective relationships with our technical teams and Client-side project management, including stakeholder, schedule, and contract management.
  • Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and expertise to the design team on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, from conceptual phases to implementation.
  • Oversee: Undertake the Quality management processes for project activities and outputs.
  • Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values both internally and externally.
  • Ensure Quality: Working through the complexities of our Transportation projects, you will hold our clients' hands and overcome problems in unison when they inevitably arise.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • A relevant built environment degree

Experience required:

  • Experience of successfully leading & delivering rail related Irish (or UK) infrastructure or rail projects.
  • Experience and familiarity in delivering projects for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and Translink.
  • Awareness and familiarity of working under NEC suite of contracts.
  • Proven ability to scope / estimate projects.
  • Proven experience in delivering & managing Rail projects in excess of 30 million Euros.
