Overview

Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Reliability Engineer for a pharmaceutical assignment located in Brinny, Cork. This is initially an 11 month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Develop engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
  • Maintain and support the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program, including vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses.
  • Analyse equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of maintenance efforts and reduce regulatory concerns (cGxP, EHS).
  • Reduce and improve maintenance work, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of plant and equipment while prolonging asset life at optimal cost.
  • Benchmark other sites and industries for emerging technologies and techniques; implement digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
  • Coach planners and schedulers to ensure PM/PdM services meet metrics (schedule adherence, costs, resource utilisation).
  • Comply with Quality and EHS Management System requirements relevant to operations.
  • Run and support maintenance projects, targeting improvements in Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in engineering, preferably mechanical or electrical.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial environment or specialized consultancy (desirable).
  • Strong ability to analyse and identify trends and patterns in maintenance data.
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) knowledge highly desirable.
