Amazon is seeking a data-savvy professional to create, report on, and monitor business and operations metrics. Key job responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Business Analyst to drive analysis and insights that help our teams make meaningful business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analytics, high standards for accuracy, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. You should possess excellent business and communication skills to collaborate with business owners, develop key questions, and build data sets to answer those questions. Above all, you should love working with large datasets and bringing them together to drive change.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven expertise in business/data analysis
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, ETL processes, and data visualization tools like QuickSight, Power BI, or similar
  • Experience defining requirements and using data to derive insights
  • Ability to make business recommendations and influence stakeholders
  • High integrity and discretion handling confidential information
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses (e.g., regressions, t-tests)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in STEM or related field
  • Experience in project management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
  • Knowledge of Python, R, and data science tools
  • Experience in BI product development or automation
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision-makers
