Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the programming, integration, and optimization of robotic systems within custom robotic cells. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in robotics, along with a passion for innovation and problem-solving in complex automation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and implement custom robotic systems.
  • Lead and execute cell design and simulation (OLP) for all robotic cells, ensuring accurate layout, functionality, and system performance prior to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of robotic and automation systems.
  • Integrate vision systems for robotic guidance, positioning, and inspection tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize robotic systems for maximum efficiency, in-house, on client sites, and remotely.
  • Perform robotic system troubleshooting and provide technical support as required.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, integration procedures, and testing reports.
  • Manage automation tasks ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Report on project activity and maintain up-to-date project status documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay informed on advancements and trends in robotics and automation technology.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotic programming (Kuka KRL/WorkVisual, Fanuc Karel/Roboguide, ABB RAPID/RobotStudio).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with robotic OLP simulation software. (Visual Components, Process simulate etc)
  • Experience in PLC or vision development is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of robotic welding is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
