OverviewIt's an exciting time to be a member of the Fisher Investments Technology Department. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our CRD team.
The Opportunity:The FII Senior Business Analyst supports the Charles River Development (CRD - CRIMS). You will work with our Portfolio Management Team on tasks such as Client Guidelines and Assurance, Portfolio Engineering, Portfolio Implementation, Trading, and Trading Operations. You will collaborate closely with the Charles River userbase to understand their needs and partner with Charles River and other teams to design and implement solutions. You will report to the Vice President - PMG Technology Services.
The Day-to-Day:- Manage programs to ensure requirements are met efficiently, overseeing all project phases from inception to deployment.
- Identify process improvements, recommend and implement solutions to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on production platforms to ensure system health and readiness.
- Foster communication between business customers, Technology Teams, and vendors.
- Engage with business customers to understand challenges and develop optimal solutions.
- Take ownership of configuration, deployment, testing, and post-deployment support.
- Write detailed business, functional, and technical requirements, including user stories under Agile/Scrum, with documentation and diagrams.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Technology Business Analyst or similar supporting critical applications in Wealth or Investment Management.
- Minimum 2 years configuring and implementing Charles River Manager Work Bench workflows, layouts, and Result Sets.
- Advanced SQL skills for query development and updates.
- Strong knowledge of order management concepts, workflows, and terminology.
- Experience with Equities and Fixed Income markets, including trade lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC, process diagramming, and project management tools.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related fields.
