We're currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager, ideally with a construction industry background, to join our innovative team. If you're looking for a new challenge and are ready to advance your career at a leading European company, we would love to hear from you.
Your Future Role- Manage and develop the full EH&S landscape across all onsite projects and in-house factory, building strong relationships with project stakeholders and staff.
- Assess, develop, and improve GLF's Safety Statement/Policy, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and 'Ways of Working' to promote safety culture.
- Collaborate with Senior Management, including the Operations Director & Production Manager, to coordinate activities of staff and subcontractors.
- Minimize accidents and ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Implement EH&S practices in line with legislation.
- Train staff and operatives.
- Advise management on EHS issues.
- Prepare and review Method Statements and Safety Statements.
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.
- Liaise with clients' EHS personnel and coordinate safety training.
- Perform environmental and safety audits.
- Manage safety documentation and reports.
- Support policy development within the business.
- Third-level qualification in health and safety with 3+ years' experience.
- Experience in construction or architectural design, especially curtain walling.
- Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills.
- Motivational leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) and IT skills.
- Full driver's license.
- Knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, and Constructionline.
