The Apprenticeship Programme

We are seeking ambitious apprentices to join our team for a 9-month structured programme. This is a rare chance to gain practical, hands-on experience in AI and data science while working alongside a seasoned team delivering real projects across multiple industries.

The programme is divided into three stages, each with clear goals and evaluation points. Progression is based on performance. From stage two onwards, a modest stipend will be provided. Every apprentice will be paired with an Idiro mentor and will receive structured training in areas such as data mining, machine learning, and generative AI. At the end of the programme, successful apprentices will be considered for full-time roles.

What You Will Learn
  • How AI and machine learning, including LLMs and generative AI, are applied to real-world business challenges.
  • Data wrangling: manipulating, transforming and preparing data from diverse sources.
  • Practical modelling: mastering core techniques in predictive analytics and deep learning.
  • How to build and adapt solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning approaches.
  • Communicating with impact: engaging clients and stakeholders, presenting insights, and translating technical results into business outcomes.
What We Expect
  • Strong motivation to grow your skills and work on real AI and data projects.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, relational databases, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU.
  • Bonus skills: Linux, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), or prior exposure to AI/ML frameworks.
