PM Group - Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) department are seeking a skilled Electrical Facilities Technician to join our team in the Midlands, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining electrical systems ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and compliance. Previous Medical Device and Manufacturing experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  2. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance to proactively address potential problems and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility improvement projects and upgrades.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, particularly in a medical device manufacturing environment.
  6. Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades, to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Diploma / degree in Electrical Engineering, or trade Qualified.
  2. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing setting, preferably in medical device/manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
  4. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
  5. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  6. Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
