We are currently recruiting a Nurse to oversee the care of residents at Woodlands House Nursing Home, Dillons Land, Trim Road, Navan C15 V585.

About Woodlands

Woodlands House was built in 1917 in the Georgian style and originally served as a Rectory for the local Church of Ireland Clergy. It has been operating as a Nursing Home since the early 1980s. We prioritize residents' privacy and cater to their specific needs, caring for each resident as a unique individual.

About the Role

We are seeking relief/bank Nurses to cover shifts (holidays, absences, and leaves) at Woodlands Nursing Home in Navan. This role offers flexible hours to suit your availability.

The Staff Nurse will work closely with the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing to ensure a high standard of care, in compliance with HIQA regulations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to resident-focused care, with responsibilities including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to the highest professional standards.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Ensure quality of care is maintained
  2. Supervise care and nursing staff daily
  3. Coordinate resident activities
  4. Work within HIQA regulations
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager
Role Requirements
  1. NMBI Registered
  2. Excellent clinical, leadership, and organizational skills
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Sound decision-making ability
  5. Interest in elderly care
