Role Overview

This is a key role for a solicitor with a strong background in conveyancing and probate, ideally with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with minimal supervision, contribute to practice development, and play a leadership role within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing files from initial instruction to post-completion.
  • Handle all aspects of probate and estate administration, including drafting wills, advising on Enduring Powers of Attorney, and managing complex estates.
  • Advise clients clearly and confidently, maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with support staff and junior solicitors, offering guidance and mentorship as required.
  • Liaise with Revenue, Probate Office, and other relevant bodies.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and assist with client relationship management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in property and probate law in Ireland.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first approach.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and general office IT.
  • Experience in litigation or general practice is an advantage.
  • Local knowledge of North Dublin and surrounding areas.
  • A keen interest in growing and contributing to a small, community-oriented practice.
