Director & Head of Financial Services at EMPOWERMENT Financial Recruitment

An excellent opportunity is presented for a talented risk professional to join a growing Investment Manager based in Dublin city centre with a keen focus on Enterprise & Operational Risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume the role as Head of Risk (PCF-14 ) & DP for Operational Risk (PCF-39B)
  • Drive the risk programme for the Group to include Framework, Policy & Register
  • Ensure the Enterprise Risk Management function is operating effectively in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Produce exceptional management information to the Board, Risk Committees and other senior stakeholders in the business
  • Primary owner of the relationship with the CBI on all risk related matters

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten years experience in Operational/Enterprise Risk with an Investment Manager, ManCo, or similar firm
  • Current holder (or have previously held) of PCF-14/PCF-39B designation from the CBI
  • Strong knowledge of AIFMD/UCITs regulations
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organisation
