Catering Equipment Service Technician – Southern Region

We're looking for a dedicated Catering Equipment Service Technician to join our team of professionals who take pride in delivering top-quality service. We are seeking a committed Catering Equipment Service Technician for the Southern Region covering the areas of Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Laois, and Cork.

The role will involve, but not be limited to:

The Catering Equipment Service Technician will provide ongoing support to the Service Manager to service and maintain all catering equipment for the southern region.

The technician will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of all equipment on an ongoing basis, ensuring company policies are met at all times. The role involves travel and responding to breakdown emergencies.

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will be suitably qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience and a good working knowledge of catering equipment, servicing, and maintenance. The candidate should be hands-on with a proven track record, possess excellent communication skills, and have strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities will include stock control and ordering parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of catering equipment
  • Maintaining, operating, and repairing relevant equipment
  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance
  • Inspecting equipment for wear and damage, performing minor repairs and adjustments
  • Maintaining inventories, storing, retrieving, and assembling/disassembling equipment
  • Holding a full, clean driving license
  • Being flexible to work on various catering equipment
  • Adhering to all standards and procedures, ensuring others do as well
  • Collaborating with the Service Manager and Store Managers to maintain high standards
  • Building positive relationships with management and staff, motivating through personal contact
  • Demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of catering equipment such as ice cream and milkshake machines, fryers, grills, pizza ovens, hot counters, ovens, dishwashers, toasters, and refrigeration systems is an advantage.
