Senior Commercial Property Manager Dublin (Retail)

An opportunity has arisen in our growing Property Management division for a Senior Property Manager with a retail focus, who has at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.

Our team is a dynamic and exciting place to work, offering a vast range of on-site facilities, staff benefits, and career opportunities. The successful candidate will join one of the largest Property Management departments in Ireland, supported by a highly experienced team committed to career progression.

Based in Dublin, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of predominantly retail commercial assets, delivering day-to-day management services. They should be self-motivated, a problem solver, with a positive attitude.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving client objectives and must have excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and a drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  1. Managing key client relationships
  2. Overseeing daily management of a mixed portfolio of retail assets
  3. Managing lease dates and advising clients on lease events
  4. Handling property inspections, arrears, rent management, and cash flow
  5. Managing service charge budgets per SCSI Code of Practice
  6. Building relationships with retailers and occupiers, discussing debt, trading performance, footfall, etc.
  7. Supporting senior management on larger projects and accounts
  8. Assisting in creating presentations for business development and pitches
  9. Producing high-quality, detailed reports monthly/quarterly as per client needs
  10. Maintaining contact with stakeholders like banks, receivers, institutions, owners, tenants, lawyers, etc.
  11. Writing timely, accurate reports
  12. Managing fee systems, client acceptance, and AML checks
  13. Supervising site and junior staff if required
  14. Liaising with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills Required

  1. Technical competence and ability to earn client trust
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial property management, especially retail parks or shopping centres
  3. Proactive approach with excellent time management and organizational skills
  4. Initiative and ongoing professional development towards SCSI chartership
  5. Ability to identify opportunities and grow business within their sphere
  6. IT proficiency, preferably with Yardi software
  7. Understanding of ESG principles in property management
  8. Articulate, professional, persuasive communication skills
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs
  10. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  11. Integrity, honesty, and high ethical standards
  12. Fluent in spoken and written English
  13. Valid driving license; use of own car is desirable but not essential
