Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking firm located in Dublin. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Management Accounting. This is an excellent opportunity within the company, requiring an individual who is positive, self-motivated, and possesses exceptional organizational and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts as well as year-end statutory accounts (unaudited).
  • Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensuring compliance with company secretarial requirements.
  • Advise clients on adopting technological solutions to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
  • Gain proficiency in various accounting software programs (Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to recommend suitable client packages and tools.
  • Contribute to the firm's accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.
  • Manage internal administrative tasks such as timesheets and invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) or Accounting Technician.
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on management accounts and strong technological skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages like Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
