Our client is a confidential, well-established multinational with a strong global footprint and a consistent record of growth. This is a newly created position within a large international tax function, designed to strengthen the team's strategic capabilities and drive high-impact transactional and advisory initiatives.

You will work closely with senior leadership on complex global projects including M&A, financing structures, group reorganisations, and tax optimisation strategies. The role offers a platform to shape tax policy across the group, lead cross-border initiatives, and contribute to critical business decisions with meaningful commercial impact.
Who should apply?We're seeking ambitious and commercially-minded tax professionals with at least 8 years' PQE and excellent communication skills. Ideal backgrounds include:
- Tax Director in an industry role seeking a broader strategic remit
- Senior Manager or No. 2 in a Plc, SME or large corporate tax function ready to step up
- Big 4/Top 10 Director looking to move into a dynamic industry environment
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Role and Reporting LinesThis is a senior position reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading global direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising senior stakeholders on M&A, financing, restructuring, and repatriation strategies
- Monitoring international tax developments and implementing appropriate responses
- Aligning tax reporting with evolving business operations and commercial activity
- Collaborating with legal, finance, and corporate development teams to deliver efficient tax solutions
