Responsibilities
  • Assist with Payroll and Income Tax compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients
  • Reporting directly to members of the senior tax management group and tax partners
  • Interpreting legislation for preparation of tax returns
  • Researching and identifying tax compliant solutions and opportunities for clients
  • Preparation and filing of tax returns in relation income tax, payroll tax and share remuneration reporting
  • Co-ordinating cross border employment tax projects with the BDO Network
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Possess a third level qualification in Business or a relevant field with a minimum of a 2:1 GPA
  • Highly developed organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong overall computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a team environment and on their own initiative
  • Be able to build rapport quickly, foster trust, and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Understands business drivers and can align decisions and actions with strategic goals to deliver value
  • Be ambitious and keen to pursue the AITI Chartered Tax Advisory Qualification
