Due to continued growth in our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the IAM Agricultural Machinery team.

Position: Agricultural Machinery Support Technician
This is a key role within our service support team, contributing to the efficient operation of technical aftersales across our dealer and customer network. You will assist in maintaining clear, professional communication between suppliers, dealers, and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide field-based and remote aftersales technical support.
- Carry out machine assembly and pre-delivery inspections.
- Perform product installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Support dealers daily to resolve technical issues and customer queries.
- Deliver technical guidance and support both in person and over the phone.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely resolution of technical matters.
- Collaborate with the internal team and management to develop and support our dealer network.
- Participate in product and technical training, both in Ireland and internationally.
- Conduct regular dealer visits to provide technical support and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate records of service support cases and product issues.
- Submit weekly reports to your manager on technical activities and dealer support.
- Support field-based technical and sales training initiatives.
- Assist other areas of the business as required.
Person Specification
- Energetic, organised, and a strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Experience with warranty systems and retail service processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with farming practices, machinery operation, maintenance, and servicing.
- Demonstrates initiative, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Flexible to travel both nationally and internationally when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); other IT skills are an advantage.
- Full, clean driver's licence required.
