a leading Tier 1 Main contractor is currently seeking a BID Writer to join their team in either Galway or Dublin. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities to work on projects covering Commercial, Educational, Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors. The role offers Hybrid working arrangements.
Role Responsibilities:
- Generate top-tier proposal documents by orchestrating and crafting captivating content. Refine technical jargon for clarity, persuasion, and a client-centric approach. Ensure adherence to corporate brand guidelines and bid management protocols.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of case studies, templates, and CVs to streamline the proposal development workflow effectively.
- Collaborate closely with technical specialists to tailor responses for tender requests. Conduct interviews across organizational levels to gather insights on value propositions, including construction methodologies, innovation, digital project delivery, HSE, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.
- Foster strong working relationships across all organizational levels to enable seamless collaboration and information exchange.
- Assess tender requirements and formulate compelling responses that address client needs. Infuse proposals with the company's values, vision, and culture to deliver a distinctive and engaging presentation.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Prior experience in construction/engineering is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail in content creation and editing.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is advantageous; understanding of corporate procedures is valued.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable.
