GPC Finance is proud to partner with a progressive accounting firm based in Dublin. They are an established practice with years of experience, providing their vast database of clients with quality chartered accountancy services. They are currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful Trainee Accountant will work alongside the team to provide a broad range of accounting services to their clients.

Role
  • Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses.
  • Understand from your manager the scope of tasks allocated and objectives to be achieved.
  • Keep seniors and managers fully informed of any issues and problems.
  • Make full use of the resources and people available to find answers to queries before handing work on to the manager.
  • Accurately complete and maintain timesheets to ensure proper billing for clients.
  • Ability to interact with clients and obtain necessary information.
  • Taking responsibility for regular jobs and for finishing work that may come back to you following review or client clarifications.
  • Ad hoc accounting and administrative work as required.
Requirements
  • Accountancy or Business Degree
  • Must plan to pursue ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification.
  • Have strong problem-solving and excellent verbal & written communication capabilities.
  • Strive to continually improve and deliver quality.
  • Have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage change successfully.
  • Proficiency in Excel would be a distinct advantage.
Salary & Benefits
  • €23,000 – €28,000 DOE
  • Full Study Package
  • Bonus – after 6 months of successful service
  • Early Finish Fridays
