The purpose of this role is for an experienced client executive to work within a dynamic team setting. The role entails working on commercial accounts with an account director and managing and developing an established commercial book of business.

Sales and Activity Management:

  1. Responsible for client insurance requirements including inviting, securing and documenting renewal as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling in line with agreed protocols and procedures.
  2. Provide account support to account director(s) on clients.
  3. Ensure agreed processes are followed in all matters.
  4. Manage aged debt and premium collection.
  5. Comply with all management audit requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitments.
  2. Deal with any issues that customers may have with queries, quotes, etc.

Customer Service:

  1. Portray a professional image to meet or exceed customer service standards.
  2. Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your work.
  3. Deal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely manner.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with designated account director.
  2. Work as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are met.
  3. Collaborate to ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targets.

Compliance:

  1. Work with the team manager and compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum CIP qualification.
  2. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
  3. Strong communication skills are essential.
  4. Possess a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace change.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload.
  7. Demonstrate good technical and product knowledge.
  8. The ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen events.
  9. A good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management.

Person Specification:

  1. Previous Open I experience.
  2. Proficient in Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  3. Friendly and assertive manner on the phone.
  4. Ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients.
  5. Willingness to learn and develop.
  6. Strong work ethic.
