Overview

A highly respected Irish-owned insurance broker is expanding its Personal Lines team and is now hiring for two key roles, one focused on New Business and another on Existing Business. Key Responsibilities

New Business:

  • Provide professional advice to potential clients on the most suitable car and home insurance products.
  • Evaluate incoming enquiries, identify customer needs, and tailor insurance solutions accordingly.
  • Generate quotes and follow up with leads in a timely, compliant, and service-oriented manner.
  • Convert leads into active policies while delivering a first-class customer experience.

Existing Business:

  • Manage renewals for existing car and home insurance clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle all mid-term adjustments (MTAs), queries, and policy updates promptly and accurately.
  • Provide professional best advice during renewal calls, upselling where appropriate to ensure full cover suitability.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.

Common Responsibilities (Both Roles)
  • Ensure all client interactions meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet team and individual performance targets.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge and market developments.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience handling car or home insurance either new or existing business.
  • APA in Personal General Insurance (or one exam away from qualification).
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
