Job Title: Warehouse Operative (with Technical Support Responsibilities)

Location: Maynooth Co. Kildare

Department: Operations / Technical

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Working Hours: Mon–Fri 8.30am–5pm

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a reliable and technically minded Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a dual-purpose role that combines general warehouse duties with supporting our technical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organised, and capable of assisting with basic repairs on chargers and equipment, supporting technicians, and aiding administrators when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
  • Preparing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Conducting regular stock checks and inventory control

Technical Support Duties:

  • Assisting technicians with the basic repair and maintenance of chargers and related equipment
  • Following repair procedures and handling tools and components safely
  • Conducting basic diagnostic checks under guidance
  • Supporting the setup and testing of equipment

Administrative Support:

  • Assisting the administrative team with processing stock records and updating internal systems
  • Collecting and delivering items or documentation between departments as needed
  • Providing ad hoc support with filing, scanning, or basic data entry

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment (essential)
  • Basic technical or mechanical knowledge (essential)
  • Comfortable using hand tools and following technical instructions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities across departments

Qualifications:

  • Full EU Driving Licence (essential)
  • Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) (essential)
  • Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office, warehouse systems)
  • Any technical or repair-related qualifications (desirable)
