Job Summary:

A Solution Consultant at Chargebee plays a crucial role in guiding customers by providing expert guidance in subscription consulting, designing scalable billing and revenue management solutions, and driving their business success with our powerful platform.

Chargebee is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant with a passion for subscriptions, memberships, and recurring business models across various industries. You will collaborate closely with top performers on Enterprise and Strategic accounts.

In this role, you will become an industry expert in Subscriptions, owning solution design and strategy for your clients. Your growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit will drive innovation and help customers accelerate their recurring revenue growth through our Subscription Revenue Management suite.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Become the subscription revenue expert in Chargebee's platform
  • Act as the subject matter expert and strategic technical counterpart to Account Executives on the Enterprise team
  • Guide prospects through their journey as they launch or scale their subscription business globally
  • Conduct workshops, deliver product demonstrations, configure tailored solutions, and present value propositions to outline how we can help customers achieve their business outcomes
  • Design best-practice solution architectures and process flows/workflows to help customers visualize their path to a better, more profitable future
  • Outline the scope of the project, and collaborate with our Professional Services team to make sure the design and approach is sound and the customer's experience/time to value is streamlined
  • Being a critical member in the field, you will act as the voice of the customer and provide valuable feedback and recommendations to our Product Management and Sales Leadership teams
  • Travel throughout your assigned region as needed to support marketing, and field events or meet with customers onsite

Must haves:

  • Fluency in both German and English is required. Proficiency in additional European languages will be considered a bonus.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Presales/Sales Engineering, with at least 5 years in the SaaS industry.
  • Energetic, driven, and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation, discovery, storytelling, problem-solving, and persuasion.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS platforms and how integrations work via APIs.
  • Strong business acumen and proven experience working with C-level executives to translate technology solutions into business value.

Nice to haves:

  • A basic understanding of accounting principles, payment systems, and financial systems.
  • Experience with order-to-revenue or quote-to-cash processes, including CPQs, and platforms like Salesforce/HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with web development, enterprise systems architecture, and cloud-based integration platforms (iPaaS).
  • Prior experience in selling financial SaaS applications, such as subscription billing or revenue management solutions, is a strong advantage.
