Community Support Worker

CPL Healthcare is excited to announce a number of great opportunities to work with our client in the disability sector.
We are seeking Community Support Workers - New Directions and Outreach for Day Services based in the Leinster Region: Kildare, Wexford and Dublin.
As part of your role, you will:
- Empower Service Users to live independent lives in their home and the community.
- Support the development and delivery of the person-centred plan.
- Develop community partnerships to foster active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes.
- Transport service users to access the community.
- Be responsible for Key Worker duties i.e. weekly administration, advocacy, liaising with families and developing and implementing person-centred plans.
The perfect candidate will:
- Hold a relevant QQI qualification - minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or relevant.
- Have experience working with service users in the disability sector.
- Be over the age of 18.
- Have a full clean manual driving license with access to own vehicle for work purposes.
- Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Have previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a relevant sector.
