Applications are invited from suitably qualified staff within the Hospital for the following position:

Ref No: 2025/113 Staff Midwife/Radiographer with an interest in Ultrasound

Permanent, Full Time Position (1 WTE) 37.5 hrs per week

The Ultrasound service is part of a dynamic and growing healthcare facility catering to the health needs of women at all stages during pregnancy and the postnatal period, in addition to gynaecological assessment.

Qualifications And Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife or be eligible for registration with NMBI, or
  • Registered Radiographer/Sonographer or eligible for registration with CORU with a diploma in obstetric Ultrasound.

Be committed to undertaking such studies within 3 years.

  • Post-registration five years' experience.

Skills And Knowledge

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a team and workload.
  • Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development, training, and research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience of working in various models of midwifery care.
  • Mentorship / Preceptorship training.
