Job Description:

Our client, an established hospital based in Cork, is currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Oncology to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care to a high standard.
  2. Work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
  3. Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Registered General Nurse & live on the register with NMBI.
  2. At least five years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience (full-time or equivalent hours part-time) in an acute hospital setting, including a minimum of two years in Oncology.
  3. Hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Oncology nursing.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
  5. Computer literate with good IT skills.
  6. Strong organizational skills.
